Meet Our Pastor
     Pastor Dickson is an Ordained Minister with the Assemblies of God. He became the pastor of Faith Assembly of God in July, 1989.
     He and his wife, Sandy, were married in Abilene, TX in 1966. They are the parents of three children and five grandchildren. Their son, Stephen, is a graduate of Southwestern Assemblies of God University in Waxahachie, TX. Currently, Stephen, his wife Rachel…and baby daughter, Adalie are involved in planting a new inter-denominational church in Fort Smith, AR. Of their daughters: Stephanie, lives in Flower Mound, TX with her children Jordan, Lauren, and Brady; Jennifer resides in Lewisville, TX.  She is the mother of Brek, the Dickson’s third grandson.
     Pastor Dickson has served churches in both the Southern and Northern Missouri Districts, as well as in all three Districts of Texas: North, South, and West Texas. He and Sandy came to Granbury after living in the Metroplex for almost five years.
     During his tenure, he has served not only Faith Assembly of God, but the Granbury community as well. For ten out of the twenty-one years that he has ministered at Faith Assembly, he has been selected by local pastors to serve as the President of the Lake Granbury Area Ministerial Alliance. He served on the committee for Christmas for Children from its inception until 2009. He also continues to serve as Chairman of the Granbury “Night of Lights” Christmas Parade, an event he brought into the holiday tradition of Granbury.
     Under his leadership, Faith Assembly has developed into a community of believers who are committed to love each other. In fact, comments are often made that Faith Assembly is the kind of place where those that are broken in spirit, mind or even life, can find healing.
     Intimate worship and effective ministry of the Word characterizes Faith Assembly's church services. Pastor Dickson states, “It is my goal to lead people to know Christ in a measure they never before deemed possible.”
